Welcome to what we hope will be a recurring series from Knotions!
For the next several weeks (starting on Monday), we’ll post a series of tutorials on how to do some of the more challenging bits. We’re so excited about this and hope that the series will help you craft smarter!
Here’s what we have planned:
- Improved SSK’s (knit)
- Centered Double Decrease (knit)
- Stacked Increases and Decreases (knit)
- Post Stitches (crochet)
- Weaving in Ends (crochet)
- Jogless Stripes (crochet)
- Fix-a-Stitch Review (knit)
- Bias Bindoff (knit)
- One-Row Buttonhole (knit)
It’s a great line up and we hope you think so too. We’ve included a few that were requested by you, the readers, and a few that we just wanted to have in here too. Just like Knotions, we have both knitting and crochet. And many of these can help both types of crafters – so don’t just discount the ones that aren’t for your craft. You just might learn something or get a great idea for something new!
We also have a few surprises up our sleeve (you wouldn’t expect any less!).
Don’t forget to enter our giveaway for your very own bottle of Eucalan in the scent of your choice. We thought Eucalan was a great choice for January because it really goes with the whole idea of crafting smarter. I mean, who doesn’t want great-smelling, clean and blocked projects?
Our hope is that you add a few new things to your crafting arsenal, are maybe even tempted to finally try a new craft, and if you have anything to add to what we share, please comment on our posts. We like to get smarter too!
What do you think of our line-up? Did we miss anything you’d really like to see? Remember that we publish tutorials year-round so don’t be shy. Even if we missed it for this round, there’s always next time so let us know.
And of course, make sure you always craft smarter.
