Wrapped in history, warmth, and a splash of European charm, the Tallinn Nouveau Scarf is more than just an accessory—it’s an adventure in texture, color, and design.
Inspired by The Reichmann House in Tallinn’s Old Town, this scarf takes cues from Art Nouveau architecture, blending geometric beauty with soft, flowing stitches.
- Warmth with a Story – Every stitch carries a touch of old-world elegance, with color choices reflecting the building’s striking details.
- A Palette of Perfection – Agate green, gold, sand, and peach come together to create a rich, inviting aesthetic.
- Chunky Comfort – Made with Cascade Anthem Chunky, this scarf is as cozy as it is eye-catching.
The best part? It’s beginner-friendly yet engaging, with a mix of stripes, granny squares, and scalloped edges to keep things interesting.
Whether you’re strolling through a chilly morning market or adding flair to a simple outfit, the Tallinn Nouveau Scarf is your perfect companion. Ready to crochet up a little history?

I have always loved crafting, tentatively knitting and crocheting when I was younger but it wasn’t until my daughter was battling a chronic illness that crocheting became a source of solace and relaxation for me. Before long, it was more than just a hobby, I embraced everything crochet and before I knew it was designing my own patterns! I am now a passionate crochet designer who loves finding inspiration in everyday things and using different stitches to interpret my ideas into cosy and comfortable items.
I am also a qualified crochet tech editor which I love. Taking a designer’s pattern and correcting any grammatical errors, checking stitch counts, ensuring pattern repeats work etc. I love being able to help other designers be confident that their pattern is in its best form for publication. I have all my own patterns tech edited as it is a bit like marking you’re own homework, you never see your own errors!
When I’m not crocheting (which is rare!) you’ll find me spending time with my family; my hubby of 25+ years, my two teenage daughters, my daft boxer dog and my rather aloof cat!
