The fall season brings lots of excitement to the small town of Boulder City, Nevada, where I grew up. During the first weekend of October, the town hosts an Art in the Park, a fundraiser for the local hospital, that has been around since I was a child. Artists travel near and far to set up booths of handmade items they have crafted all year long. Many people fill the town to see new and returning craft booths, food trucks and entertainment at the nearby local businesses. The Cambrie Cowl was inspired by the colors, creativity and excitement of Art in the Park.

Lori Wagner

Lori Wagner resides in Henderson, Nevada. She learned to knit in 2008 while on a girls' getaway and started designing and self-publishing her designs on Ravelry in 2012. When not knitting, she enjoys reading, hiking, baking and hanging out with her two cats, Purl and Penny.
