Desiderium

Desiderium: an ardent desire or longing; especially a feeling of loss or grief for something lost.

This top-down crescent shaped shawl features a center lace panel, flanked by smooth side panels and finished off with a lace section that flows along the entire bottom of the shawl and wraps into the tips.

Worked in lace weight yarn and accented with beads.

Juniper Moon Findley (50% merino wool, 50% silk, 798 yds [730 m]/100 g): Graphite, 1 skein.

Sadly, this yarn was recently discontinued. A good substitute: 1 hank of West Yorkshire Spinners Exquisite Lace in 049 “Truffle” or 2 hanks of Knit Picks Gloss Lace shown in Hawk

Size US 2 (2.75mm) needles, 40″ (100cm) circulars
