1/1/1RC can be hard without a cable needle! But it’s possible, read on. If you’ve never worked a cable without a cable needle, you may want to read our tutorial on it first.
Don’t be discouraged by all the pics – we’ve been very detailed so you get a lot of info on how to do it.
How to Work the 1/1/1RC
At the start of the 1/1/1RC there should be a ktbl1, p1, ktbl1 waiting on your LHN.
Take your RHN and stick it in the 3rd stitch on your LHN from the front.
Pinch the first 2 sts on your LHN as you slip them from the needle. The 3rd st should now be sitting on your RHN needle.
Place the 2 pinched sts back on your LHN and then place the first st from your RHN needle back to your LHN. From right to left, there now are a ktbl1, ktbl1, p1 waiting on your LHN needle.
Ktbl1.
Now take your RHN needle and stick it into the 2nd st on your LHN needle from the back.
Pinch the first st on your LHN as you slip it from the needle. The 2nd st should now be sitting on your RHN needle.
Place the pinched st back on your LHN and then place the first st from your RHN needle back to your LHN. From right to left, there are now a p1, ktbl1 waiting on your LHN needle. P1.
Ktbl1.
Your 1/1/1RC is now complete.
