This two-colored wrap is inspired by flames. The two sides are intertwined within a central cable, surrounded by bramble stitch. The edges are defined by cables on each side.
The wrap is knit flat, using a simple intarsia technique for the two colors.

Cascade Yarns, Eco + (100% Peruvian Highland wool; 478 yds [437 m]/8.75 oz [250 g]): Color # 9654 Campfire Heather (MC), 2 balls/skeins, Color # 8444 Butternut Squash (CC), 2 balls/skeins.
The sample shawl required 555 yards/507 meters per color.
