You guys like these so much, let’s look at a couple more today.
After yesterday’s comment from Purrlie I added white in the mix for both of these. Even if you’re not interested in white, it does a great job at showing you some of the details and giving you a blank slate to imagine these in any color.
Coia Cape
The original Coia Cape‘s vivid orange is a great color, but let’s see a few other options.
I did this one up in white, blue and grey so we get to see it in very different colors. While we’ve all heard the old advice to use something to pull a certain color out in an outfit, I think it’s really interesting to see how the model’s plaid shirt underneath it looks different depending on the color of the cape. In the white, I see the stripes more and in the blue, it seems more balanced. I didn’t adjust the colors of the shirt at all – it’s just its proximity to different colors that changes the way our eyes see it.
Erica Cowl
I love the texture in this design, and given it just uses one skein of yarn, it’s a great excuse to add this little accessory to your wardrobe.
Similar to Coia above, the light pink of the model’s top comes out to different degrees. Not surprisingly, you really see the pink in the white cowl’s picture because of the contrast.
More Color Variations
If you missed yesterday’s post, we showed 3 different designs. And we’re still not done – we have a few more to show you from the new issue too. But those are for tomorrow…
