Diagrams show you what you’ll be making! You just need to know a few basics to get started.
How to Decipher the Symbols
The “T” tells you it’s a stitch with a Yarn Over before you insert your hook.
Since a SC has no Yarn Overs, it’s not a capital “T” at all.
The number of crosses INCLUDING THE CROSS TO MAKE THE “T” tell you how many pull throughs you do on the hook.
This is just a sampling of what’s in our Charts and Diagrams PDF
About the Instructor: Jody Richards
Jody is the founder and lead editor of Knotions. She loves poring over stitch dictionaries and trying out new stitches. And while she likes all things crafting (well ok, except that one thing), yarn crafts are her true love (and she has the stash to prove it).
She’s a serial starter-of-projects and has a serious problem with finishing things without a deadline.
And don’t get her talking about hand-dyed yarns. You’ve been warned.
