[crochet] How to Hold the Hook

I’ll say it again – it doesn’t change the way the stitch looks, so hold the hook in whatever way works! I’ll give you the two most common ways. But, I’m sure there are permutations too – especially where you put your smaller fingers.

Having said this, these are the two major ways that a hook is held. In the end, hold it whatever way is most comfortable. For me, I hold it like it’s a knife. It was actually a challenge for me to hold it the other way for the pics.

Also, regardless of the way you hold it, you might hold it differently at the beginning. Again, that’s TOTALLY FINE.
