April is still about transition, but it’s also warming up!
Layer Layer Layer
The key is creating layers so you can put a little extra on (in the morning/night or in a space that’s a little aggressive with the air conditioning) and take a few things off when it warms up. We give you projects for both wearing and working on when it gets a bit warmer.
Portable and Lightweight
Choose projects that give you this option. And don’t forget working on things when it’s nicer out. You probably don’t want a big pile of wool in your lap. Socks and shawls are great projects for this – they’re either smaller or thinner – or both. You’ll be thankful to be sitting outside with something lightweight and portable.
When It’s Warmer Weather
Warm weather doesn’t mean your crafting needs to stop. Work on lighterweight projects and keep them portable too. Enjoy the shade and keep on crafting! You might need to plan a little more but you can do it – and you’ll be happy you did.
Enjoy the Outdoors
I’m in the Northeastern US but I know other parts of the US and abroad are warmer than here and it’s predicted to be a warmer than average Spring and Summer. Enjoy these warmer times with some fun crafting! Get outside, get a little Vitamin D and get some projects done. A win all around!
