We’re still smack-dab in the middle of prime crafting season! Don’t you just love to sit down and knit or crochet a little with On-Demand or Netflix going in the background? Don’t tell me it’s just me.
We turned on our heating last month and I’ve been wearing a fleece hoodie all the time too (ok, that’s not big news – I’m always cold – but I stand by my original comment). It’s getting chillier. I’m not quite ready for snow yet but I know that’s not far behind too. I can’t believe Halloween is a thing of the past now.
We have lots of free patterns to keep your fingers busy this month:
- 2 Shawls
- 2 Pairs of Socks
- 2 Cowls
- 2 Scarves
- A pair of fingerless mitts
- A hat
- A felted, crocheted bag
Give them a try – either to do something new or keep it easy and work with a technique you already know. And if you’re celebrating U.S. Thanksgiving, you might have that Friday off too. After all the hustle and bustle of Thursday, make sure you plan a little crafting project for your day off. You’ll deserve it!
Either way, make sure you read our blog to stay up-to-date with the goings-on at Knotions. We publish a lot of tutorials and reviews too. A couple of recent favorites were the Tab Cast On (used in a lot of shawl patterns) and the Magic Knot for joining yarns. If you’ve been hesitant to try either of these, give our tutorials a try. You might be surprised at how easy they are.
