Welcome to 2017!
Crafting in January can always be a challenge. Do you start something new for yourself? A present for a close friend? Or start your gift knitting for 2017.
Why choose when you have so many great free patterns?
Take a look…
The White Queen’s shawl is a fabulous idea for anyone. And keep an eye out for our tutorial on knitting a top-down shawl too. While you wait you may also want to check out our garter tab tutorial.
Don’t miss all of our hats. Pastilles, Gatehouse and Paw Prints so you have lots of options. One color or more, knit up in fingering, DK or bulky weight yarn.
Do you like the textures in the Falkland Gansey or Double or Nothing scarves but hate all the knitting involved? You have a couple options.
Use one of our cowl patterns but with the textures in either of these patterns. Converting a scarf to a cowl is pretty simple. Or take that same motif and use it in a shawl. Once we publish the tutorial on how to knit a top-down shawl you’ll be pretty far along. Just leave a comment on this thread or use the Contact Us and we’ll give you a hand.
Add a new technique to your arsenal in 2017 with one of our great projects.
With all our tutorials we’re here to help you craft smarter.
