If you’re anything like me, you know the Gilmore Girls Revival is being released on Netflix on Friday (the day after the U.S. Thanksgiving).

I’m already planning a day filled with knitting and watching the Gilmore Girls. And ok, we’ll also do our traditional day-after-Thanksgiving outing to the Chinese Food restaurant. Because really, after a day filled with turkey and stuffing, you just want something else.

In case you’re still deciding what you can knit on while watching your favorite girls, we have a few suggestions for you.

Stars Hallow

The mythical town that many of our favorite scenes take place in – the town square, Luke’s Diner, Miss Patty’s, Dose’s Market (have I forgotten a few?). If you want to make something that commemorates the town, try a pair of Taraxacum Mitts. They’re fast and you get a pair of mitts when you’re done.

October Glory Cowl

If you’ve always fell for those beautiful leaves in the opening credits, an October Glory Cowl might be the ticket. You can use one color yarn for the main body and a different color ribbon for the lacing. Fun! Plus you get your own leaves.

City Streets Shawl

Oh, Lorelei and those dresses. Weren’t they gorgeous?

I always thought she’d be cold at night in those dresses. A nice little shawl would be just the ticket.
