Wow – another issue already! And it’s prime gifting season too.
We have quite a few projects that use more than one color in this issue.

First up is the Pretty Pavement Cowl – knit in several mosaic stitches and in 2 sizes.
Then, we have the Vox Populi Shawl – knit in two colors of yarn. Perfect for variegated or hand dyed yarn.

The next one is the Making Waves Shawl.

It’s another shawl that uses garter stitch, short rows, and a fun-to-work lace stitch.
The final on is the Fornos Hat.
The hat uses a main color and small amounts of 2 accent colors to great effect. It’s a great use for leftovers or a stashbuster project.
If Multi-Color Projects Isn’t Your Thing
Take a look at our Copper Penny Socks

Knit toe-up with a short row heel. The lace pattern will make the knitting go faster, and how great will you feel when you look down at your feet?
The Moon Rock Cowl uses a couple textures to create a cowl that’s fun to knit and wear.

And finally, don’t miss the Knitted Knot Cowl

It uses a variegated yarn and a fun new stitch (and yes, there are videos too).
Give all our free patterns a try. What we’ve shown you is less than half of what’s in the issue. We also have a set of hoods, a felted backpack, a wrap, a baby sack and hat, another cowl and a stuffed animal. Take a look at the whole thing.
And of course, we’ll be back next month with more free patterns. Don’t forget to check out our blog too – we’ll post tutorials, color variations and a few surprises as well.
