September is such a promise for us!
As crafters, we get to look forward to sweaters, ponchos, blankets and layers to keep us warm.
As bakers, there’s apple pie and chocolate cherry bread (my personal fave!), warm out of the oven.
As walkers, there’s a stroll around the neighborhood with the rustling of the leaves and a little nip in the air.
As parents and grandparents (and anyone with little ones in your life), there’s apple picking, pumpkin patch visiting and cider drinking.
We’ve assembled a fun array of projects for you this month too:
Plum Dandy
Using colors from both the New York and London stories of this Fall 2017’s Pantone palette (Tawny Port from New York and Royal Lilac from London). These colors are both on-trend and gorgeous. {view them now}
Colorama
Combine multiple colors in these beautiful designs. Take a slow color changer (think Noro or a self-striping yarn) and a beautiful solid to make these fun colorwork designs. {view them now}
Texturize
Fun to knit and unusual to wear. Combine knits and purls in unusual ways or take it a step further. We link to several of our famous tutorials for the challenging bits (and hint – there might be one more coming next week too). {view them now}
A Side of Garter
We all love the ease of garter – just knit, knit, knit (as long as it’s not in-the-round).
The designs in this collection use it more as an accent versus the main stage but these designs don’t take a back seat. {view them now}
Cast On Now!
Give one of our new patterns a try.
And of course, we’ll be back next month with more free patterns…
