Looking for a quick add to your winter wardrobe? This top-down raglan uses small bands of striping combined with a smooth body to create a beautifully simple sweater. The oversized, super-comfy sweater has subtle body shaping, preventing it from wearing like a tube but without becoming fitted.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER: ALEXIS DI GREGORIO
Alexis Di Gregorio started knitting in 2012, in order to add a hobby to her workaholic life; little did she know knitting would soon become so much more than a hobby. In 2014, she designed her first piece as a favor for a friend, and found her passion.
After being told (with love, of course) that the sweater she’d seamed looked like it was sewn “by a five year old with safety scissors,” she’s decided to focus her attention on creating beautiful, flattering seamless knits.
Colleen Boisclair
I am attempting this sweater which I think is just fabulous but as I go along, it seems way to small. I did the gauge swatch and had to increase my needle size to a 6mm. I’m trying to knit a size ladies M so I choose the 42.75″ bust circumference but mine seems to be only around 34″ around. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Ugh – that’s frustrating!
I just checked and the pattern seems correct for the gauge. So, I have a few thoughts/questions:
1. You’re making a medium, so you should have 144 stitches on your needle after separating for the sleeves. Do you?
2. If you do have 144, I’d say that the gauge isn’t right :/ Because, 144 stitches should measure at 42.6″. How exactly are you checking the gauge?
Let me know what your answers are to these 2 questions and we’ll go from there.
