The Lonely Bloom Socks pattern features a single flower stem stitch pattern on one side of a sock, growing from toe to cuff. Socks are worked from toe up with small gusset and short row heels and asymmetric placement of the Bloom pattern.
Each sock has its own toe that is shaped for the foot. But, no worries – it’s a very simple process and the pattern gives you instructions for both sides!

About the Designer: Arella Seaton
Arella Seaton is a British-Estonian knitwear designer. Growing up in a northern country, Estonia, it was only natural to knit, crochet and sew. The basic skills were taught by Mom, Granny and at secondary school where everybody had to knit a pair of socks and stranded mittens. Arella is an adventurous knitter who is not afraid of a bit of challenge. An unusual construction or stitch pattern always intrigues her and gets her creativity to flow. Her recent passion is mosaic knitting and creating charts for new mosaic patterns.
Her patterns have been published in Knotions and I Like Knitting webzines.
