Loome Party
Vilasinee Bunnag
143 pages
$27.50 Hardcover from Amazon (I recommend you get the hardcover so you also get the Loome Tool)
What a fun book! It gives you lots of options and the tool is so fun to use!
Quite possibly my favorite part is that it’s small. It’s about 6 inches (15 cm).
I have LOTS of tools (and we all have limited space) so this is a very good thing.
If you want to make the projects
This book is for you if you’re interested in making:
- pom poms
- tassels
- friendship bracelets
- small weavings
- cords
All the projects take a small time commitment and you can use scraps and leftover yarn!
Haven’t you ever wanted to use up that scrap of yarn you had leftover from a project? Or you finished a project and it just seemed like it needed a little something?
If you’re not sure where you’d use these, here are a few projects to get your juices flowing:

Put a pom pom on the top of a hat, or decorate a shawl with a few tassels.
You can even switch them out over time, or make some for a RTW (Ready to Wear) item that you purchased. Give it your unique touch 🙂
Even if you don’t want to make the projects
If you love working with yarn, you’ll get a lot out of this book too. A few of my favorites (non-project) sections are:
- Color planning – color combinations and what each color symbolizes
- Choosing fibers – alpaca, wool, cashmere, goat, bamboo, hemp, cotton, acrylic, nylon, polyester and more
- Fiber weights – what each weight is good for and where it really shines

That looks like a very interesting tool; I love multi-taskers. Thanks for the giveaway!
This looks like a lot of fun. Thank you for having such an interesting and fun way to use up some yarn!
