The first new issue is live! Before you take a look can we ask you to take our quick poll? It’ll help us make knotions better for you.
Ok now that it’s done let’s look at the new issue…
First up is Elbert’s Cap – a great new hat from Woolly Wormhead. She uses a brightly-colored hand-dyed by Chiaroscuro Dye Lab and switches the knitting direction to give it a great flair!
Next, we have the Sidhe Pullover and Beret (not pictured) by Elizabeth Helmich. She uses Quince & Co’s Lark in a great feminine pullover with an asymmetric leaf motif and a beautiful cowl.
And don’t miss Elizabeth’s interview to learn more about her style and inspiration.
The City Creek Mitts are a pair of classic fingerless mitts with some gorgeous cables and a beautiful hand-dyed from Neighborhood Fiber Co.
The Studio Sport Worsted works up fast and quick. Jody Richards added an easy-to-work gusset and the ribbing makes for simple sizing.
No knotions issue would be complete without at least one pair of socks! Louise Tilbrook’s Priory Socks were inspired by the windows of the Bolton Abbey. Pretty and wearable.
And finally, we have the Maquereau Beret and Mitts by Rachel Anderson. A great quick knit that combines a hand-dyed with a solid. The options for color combos are endless – traditional black and white, preppy pink and green or subtle off-white and brown.
And or course, don’t miss our tutorial on a No-Yarn Crochet Hook Bindoff. Yep, you read that right. No. Yarn. How many times have you needed that?
Since you’re here, may we ask that you take our quick poll? It’ll help us know what you want – and make knotions better…for you. Thanks!
