The destash suggestions are the part I needed most — my stash has gotten to the point where I buy yarn I forget I own, and a simple “use it or pass it on” rule is the only thing that’s worked. I’d love a follow-up about how you decide what stays in the rotation versus what gets donated, since that’s always the hard call.
Do you really think an open board is good for yarn storage?
From my experience two (or more) disadvantages:
1) balls and skeins tend to fall out …

I think it depends on the situation. I have 2 cats so I never would but for some it would be just fine!
I like the inspiration that it brings!
