Myrtillus is a pair of house socks, boots if you will, that will keep your toes warm and toasty all winter long. Worked toe up with a gusset and heel flap, and a beautiful cable shrub of blueberries on the back of your leg.
That’s right, the European Blueberry’s binomial name is vaccinium myrtillus and it’s my favorite berry to find in the forest.
The yarn is heavy, and the needles may seem too small for yarn like this, but the fabric is supposed to be sturdy enough so the cuff can almost stand up by itself! The seed-stitch on the leg will add to the sturdiness.

About the Designer: Artesanitarium Designs
Artesanitarium Designs is a one woman show run by Annina from Finland, a distant cold land.
She creates her designs thinking outside the box. They are made to be practical, beautiful, and easy to make and maintain. They often have a secret feature or are multi-purpose in some way or another and they are most often inspired by nature, fantasy, or sci-fi.
Annina has been designing since she was a little girl, and she now has a portfolio of over a 100 designs.
You can find her on Ravelry as Artesanity, www.instagram.com/artesanitarium or artesanitarium.com.
