“The Snow is sparkling like a million little suns” – Lama Willa Miller
The Snow Crown Hat is a cable hat inspired by the beautiful words of Lama Willa Miller. This hat is worked in the round from bottom up, featuring large diamond traveling cables filled with bubbles and stockinette bars. The diamond cable motifs with many, many delightful bubbles are the jewels of the crown, representing the sparkles of the snow “like a million little suns”.
The hat has a decorative ribbing. The 4-st cables are great for beginner cable knitters and can be knitted without a cable needle. The bubbles (double moss stitches) are made simply by altering knit and purl stitches. A pompom on top can add extra cuteness to it. It is a quick one-skein project. The cable patterns add extra thickness, perfect for the colder season.
