Thoughts
The yarn is incredibly soft and it feels like it’s been brushed. I can imagine a lush blanket made out of this!
The stitch pattern is really easy to work up, but the results look complex. I liked that the only decrease I had to do was a p2tog (stitch #4 on the WS is worked as a p2tog.
If I did the swatch again, I’d work the purl stitch before and after it as a ptbl, just to make it tighter. I would NOT work a ktbl because you’d be able to see the twisted stitch.
About the Writer: Jody Richards
Jody is the founder and lead editor of Knotions. She loves poring over stitch dictionaries and trying out new stitches.
She’s also on a mission to get everyone to embrace the blocking. And, to avoid using garter stitch edges in knit swatches made for gauge.
And while she likes all things crafting (well ok, except that one thing), yarn crafts are her true love (and she has the stash to prove it).
