I used KnitPicks Mighty Stitch in the Navy Heather colorway. It’s a blend of 20% Superwash Wool and 80% Acrylic, and I used a US #8 (5.0 mm) needle.

What a fun way to welcome the summer months!
How the Yarn Behaved
I was pleasantly surprised about how much stretch the yarn had, given the large amount (80%) of acrylic. But I think that 20% of wool really did a great job at making it sproingy.
It retrospect, I should have stretched the lace a lot more during blocking.

The stitch pattern was very intuitive, similar to the way a leaf pattern is. I could look at the work on my left needle and know what I needed to do. The decreases lined up very nicely!

Final Thoughts
This is a great yarn (hello, machine washable) and a fun stitch pattern!
And, it doesn’t get more summer than a ladybug.
