
I never knew how much I depended on the sunshine until I left warm, sunny Arizona. There is just something delicate and comforting about the sun warming you up, especially as it gently breaks through a backdrop of grey clouds.
This shawl is my reminder that sometimes we have to step into the sunshine and other times we have to make our own sunshine!
Yarn
McMullin Fiber Co, Posh Sock (8) % Superwash Merino, 10% Cashmere, 10% Nylon; 420 yds [384m]/115 g): Frost (MC), 1 skein, Sunshiney Day (CC), 1 skein.
Needle
Size US 5 (3.75mm) needles, straight or 32″ (81.5 cm) circulars, or preferred method to work a large number of stitches flat.

Pattern Notes
This is a semi-circular shawl, worked seamlessly from the top down.
This simple, engaging pattern alternates between stockinette, garter stripes, and a lace pattern that reminds me of the sun. It ends with a subtle, yet ever so delicate ruffle.
