Brioche Increase (BRKYOBRK)

• Increase your stitches by 2.
• Can be used in single color brioche or 2 color brioche.
• Increases and decreases will always be created in a brioche stitch.

As always, follow the instructions contained in your pattern.

This stitch is worked in a BRK.

Step 1: Insert right needle, as if to knit, into both loops of the brioche stitch that is going to be increased.

Step 2: Knit into that stitch but do not drop the stitches on the left needle.

Step 3: Yarn over

and knit again.

You will now have 3 stitches on your needle. Now you can drop the stitch.

You have now created 3 stitches out of 1 Brioche stitch.
