This is a great way to add a little frill at the edge of your project, and you don’t need to do a huge bind off this way!
See it in action in our Muntins Scarf.
Materials
Just your work and needles.
Step 1: CO 2 sts with a cable CO.
You will have 2 new sts on the LN.
Step 2: BO 2 sts – the 2 you just cast on. You’ll have 1 stitch on the RN and the rest of the stitches on the LN. Your overall stitch count remains the same if you count the stitch on the RN plus the stitches on the LN.
This gives your edge a slight frill but it’s a lot less fussy.
Practice makes perfect
Make a swatch and keep the working yarn attached. Then, try several repeats of the above 2 steps.
