Picking up a Provisional Cast On

This is (seriously) one of the easier knitting maneuvers!

How To Pick Up Stitches From a Provisional Cast On

You’ve done the challenging part. You worked a provisional cast on.

Now you’re done knitting and ready to pick them up again. It’s pretty straightforward!

Step 1: You start by picking up stitches that ARE NOT LIVE.

TIP: Don’t catch the provisional yarn when picking up stitches.

TIP: Make sure all the stitches are oriented the same way

Step 2: Remove the provisional yarn.

That’s it!
