There are reasons to sew, even though and every time isn’t the right time to pick up stitches.
A few times when it’s better to sew rather than picking up stitches:
- If the stitches aren’t even. meaning, sections are at different rates
- If it’s joining 2 different stitches
- For example, Cables and Stockinette
