This cowl transitions across three blocks that each blend two colors in a textured stitch pattern. The pattern is a modified version of moss stitch, slipping the knit stitches every other row. Both sides are interesting: the worked side has a more striped look, while the inside has a more woven appearance. The cowl is designed to fit snuggly doubled, or loosely in a single easy loop.
Customize the design with color choice: use more or less contrast; work as a single-band cowl in two colors; make it a stash-buster with many sections of different colors. Size is also adjustable: CO any even number of stitches to change circumference, and work more or fewer sections or change their width to alter height.
