Chart
Socks
Using Judy’s Magic Cast-On, CO 17 sts on each needle, pm and join in the round: Knit one round.
Rnd 1: Kfb, k to 1 st before end, kfb. Repeat on second needle.
Rnd 2: Knit.
Repeat both rounds until you have 35 sts on each needle.
From now work Chart on first needle only, this is your instep, and knit sts on the second one, this is your sole.
Repeat rnds 1-12 until 1.5’’ before heel, ending after having worked the first needle. Mark your last round worked in pattern, because you have to continue the repetitions after heel. Leave the sts of first needle on hold and work heel instructions on second one only.
Heel
Row 1 (RS): K to one st rem, W&T
Row 2: P to one st rem, W&T
Row 3: K to 1 st before last wrapped st, W&T
Row 4: P to 1 st before last wrapped st, W&T
Repeat rnds 3-4 until you have 17 live sts between wrapped sts. You will be ready to start a RS rnd.
When wrapping st at turning points of short rows, note that sts now have 2 wraps; these sts will referred to as double wrapped sts. When working a double wrapped st on a subsequent row, pick up both wraps and work them tog with the st which had been wrapped.
K/P wrapped st or double-wrapped st: pick up and knit/purl the wrap(s) together with the st you are working
Row 5 (RS): K to 1st wrapped st, pick up and k wrapped st, W&T
Row 6: Sl1, p to 1st wrapped st, pick up and p wrapped st, W&T

Repeat rows 7-8 until one double wrapped st remains at each end of work.

Pattern resumes at the same rnd where you left off before the heel.
Continue working Chart on both needles until your sock measures 6’’/15cm from the end of heel.
Work ribbing pattern for 10 rnds total: *k1, p1*.
BO using Stretchy Bind Off {read our tutorial on the Decrease Bind Off}, weave in ends and block it. Repeat for the second sock and enjoy your new pair of socks
