Six colors across three designers. The gradients do most of the work: Cambrie moves from rust through brick to olive, and the Cranberry pieces run a single skein from deep berry to bright. Vibrant Leaves holds one saturated orange and lets the lace do the talking.

Start with the headband. It is the quickest of the four, and it teaches the Cranberry texture before you commit a whole cowl to it.
Before you buy
I only knit. Or I only crochet.
Then two of the four are for you today and two are an argument for learning the other craft. If that is not the argument you want, each pattern is sold on its own from the patterns page. The bundle only makes sense if you want both sides of the issue.
Do I need the exact yarns?
No. Each pattern lists its weight, yardage and gauge, and all four work in any yarn that matches. The gradients in Cambrie and Cranberry are the one thing to think about: a long, slow color change is what makes those two look the way they do, so substitute with another gradient rather than a solid.
What format are the files?
PDF, with written instructions and charts where the pattern has them. Print them or read them on a tablet. Every pattern page links to the Knotions abbreviations list, and the crochet patterns use standard US terms.
Is this the whole issue?
