A provisional cast-on, built-in i-cord, multi-directional knitting, lace, color work, kitchener stitch, you name it, this construction has got it. Sure to satisfy your cravings for a quick fun knit. The pattern is written for both a single-loop and a double-loop cowl. It can be worked in your favorite mini gradient or out of scrap yarn. Approx 43 yds each of 6 colors for shorter cowl OR 86 yards each of 6 colors for longer cowl. Sample shown in Forbidden Woolery, Gradient Color Set, Fortitude 100% SW Merino.

Gauge is PRE-BLOCKING so you can substitute a different yarn if you prefer.

For shorter cowl, stop here, leaving live sts on working needle. Place provisionally cast on sts on spare needle. Using C1, graft together both sets of stitches using kitchener stitch.
For longer cowl, repeat from * to * once more (for a total of two times). Then graft together live sts as instructed above.
