Finished circumference 40” [120cm] at the top/smallest point. One size fits most and poncho is easily adjustable.

Fiber from Dripping Fiber Studios (Merino, SW Merino, Corriedale, Stellina Sparkle; 600 – 700 yards [548 – 640 meters]/19 ounces): The Octopus, The Roller Coaster and The Flying Chair– Yarn spun by Heather Price and named “The Roller Coaster”
Finished yarn is 2-ply aran weight
Any commercial yarn or handspun could easily be substituted as long as piece is measured for consistency in length.
Needles
Size US 8 (5 mm): straight knitting needles
Size US 6 (4 mm): 24” circular knitting needles
Size H/8 (4 mm) crochet hook
Notions
Stitch markers (1 or more if you like to mark stitch repeats), 1 stitch holder or waste yarn, tapestry needle, materials for blocking
Gauge
18 sts and 24 rows = 4” [10 cm] in St st after wet blocking.
