These cuffs do double duty, keeping your ankles warm and making a playful fashion statement at the same time. Show them off with your boots or skates, make some for the Derby Girls in your life, or keep them quietly to yourself under your jeans. These cuffs are made from luxury yarns, but will last much longer than socks because there are no toes or heels to wear out.
There are two versions of this pattern, both based on the same stitch pattern idea, but each taking that idea in a different direction.
Coronet Light is a delicate, understated cuff with a scalloped top and a dimply texture. Made from a silk/wool blend, the cuffs are lightweight but warm.
Coronet Bold is quick to knit. A simpler project than Coronet Light, these cuffs are chunky with bobbles and ridges and really make a statement. Knit in soft, lofty baby alpaca, they’re perfect for fall and winter, or as holiday gifts.

Finishing
If your bobbles seem a bit sloppy, you can perk them up by taking the loose stitches on either side of each bobble and pulling them over the bobble. This “strangles” the bobble and makes it sit nicely.
Weave in ends.

Coronet Bold: Row 6 directions are missing!
You’re right! The instructions should have said Rnds 6-7 so the knits are symmetrical around the bobbles. I just fixed it – thanks and I hope you weren’t stuck for too long.
Thank you for your prompt reply and fix!!!! I did have to rip out everything after the bobble round, though, because I discovered (after reading it in a ravelry project note) that there’s an error in the pattern for making the bobble. As it reads, you actually lose a stitch for each bobble…should read Kfbf instead of Kfb at the beginning of making the bobble, right?
yes, i think you’re correct! i’ll fix that now and i apologize for this!
You’re FAST!!!!! Thank you again!
it’s important to me that we post errata quickly so i always try to look at this ASAP.
Also, the first comment on the pattern page on ravelry mentions an extra k1 (by downdog2)…would that be in round 2? Editing the actual pattern would be a huge help. THANK YOU!
thank you and i agree – i just updated this too.
look good?
and ps – i apologize for all your issues with this! it’s an older pattern that we published several years ago but i definitely want it to be accurate!
Where would I find the pattern instructions for Coronet BOLD? I only see the Coronet Light pattern.
Thanks,
Nancy
that’s because i missed it 🙁
but it’s there now – thank you for telling me!
