It was in the middle of the coldest, darkest winter in Finland; I was cold and needed something warm and fluffy to wrap myself in, and I needed it fast!

My eyes glanced at these two bulky yarns just lying around, and saw that they were just what I needed, perfect for a quick shawl! So I took my needles and my yarn and started knitting. The next day my shawl was finished and I wasn’t that cold anymore!

Thanks to Mary E. Rose for knitting the sample!
