Jaali (‘lattice’ in Sanskrit) reminded me a lot of the lattice windows of Hawa Mahal, Jaipur. The pattern combines lace and cables to bring about a similar feeling of breeziness that the beautiful structure does.

About the Designer: Mugdha Manassa
Manasa learned to knit as a kid, but quit soon to focus on formal education. She worked in a corporate career before opting to be a homemaker.
Recently she has found her focus back on knitting, crochet and needlecrafts, and hasn’t looked back since then.
