Mitts (make 2)
CO 30 (36, 42, 48) sts. Join to work in the round, being careful not to twist.
Work 10 rnds of 3×3 rib (k3, p3).
Work rnds 1-12 of chart, working 5 (6, 7, 8) times around.
Sizes 7-8” only: work rnds 1-6 one more time.
Size 9.5” only: work rnds 1-12 one more time.
Thumb (worked in MC, rem sts in MC/CC as req in chart, stranding CC loosely behind thumb stitches and tacking every 3rd stitch.)
Rnd 1: K1, pm, m1P, k1, m1P, pm, k1, work to end, cont chart (you will start on the 4th stitch of chart and then continue the entire chart for the rest of the reps) in patt est. 32 (38, 44, 50) sts.

Work 4 (8, 8, 8) more times, adding 2 sts betw markers in 1×1 rib as established. 40 (50, 56, 62).
Next Rnd: K1, place sts betw markers on stitch holder or waste yarn, CO 1 st over gap using Backwards Loop method, k1, cont in patt est. 30 (36, 42, 48) sts.
Next Rnds: Work 22 (18, 18, 18) more rnds – ending with a Rnd 6 or 12
In MC: work 10 rnds of 3×3 rib. BO.
Using MC, place sts from stitch holder onto dpns and pick up 1 st from body of mitt.
Work 3 (4, 6, 8) rnds in 1×1 rib. BO.
Finishing
Weave in ends. Wash gently and block lightly.
