Knit Picks Brava Worsted (100% acrylic; 218 yards [199 meters]/100 grams): Rouge (MC) 4 balls and Peapod (C2) 2 balls for Baby blanket size – 883 total yards. Throw blanket size is 3,570 yards.

Side Puff – (Working around the post of the dc you just made) *Yarn over, pick up a loop around the post of the dc you just made; repeat from * 3 more times, yarn over, draw through 6 loops on hook, yarn over draw through last 2 loops.

Chain 1 will not count as a stitch.
You will cut and change color for every row.
Blanket Instructions
Row 1: With MC, foundation double crochet 120 (200)
Row 2: With C2, ch 1 and turn, 1 dc in same st, *skip next st, 1 dc in next st, side puff around the dc you just made, repeat from * across, 1 dc in last dc. 120 (200) sts.
Row 3: With MC, ch 1 and turn, 1 sc in same st, 1 sc in next st and each st across. 120 (200) sts.
Repeat Rows 2 and 3 until the blanket measures 29 (49) inches long or 74 (124.5) cm, ending with row 2.
Finishing
Row 1: With MC, ch 1 and turn, 1 dc in same st, 1 dc in next st and each st across. 120 (200) sts.
Border
Round 1: Do not turn, sc evenly around the blanket, placing 2 sc in each corner, join.
Round 2: Ch 1, 1 sc in same st, 1 sc in each st around, join.
Fasten off and weave in any loose ends.
