These comfy and warm Wristers are the perfect antidote to chilly hands when riding the ferry to Q-Cove (Quathiaski Cove), Quadra Island from Campbell River, Vancouver Island, in the Fall and Winter. One is compelled to stay on the ship’s deck for the 10-minute ferry trip across Discovery Pass to take in nature’s beautiful display of the islands and wildlife.

Notes
These one size Wristers are worked in the round from the wrist to the fingers. The Wristers, worked right side facing in knit stitch, incorporate an 8 row repeating stripe pattern for the body of the Wrister and thumb, yarn over increases for the thumb and purls stitches for all edge trim.
JOGLESS STRIPES (J1)
At the color change for the stripes work the first rnd as established with the new color. At the start of the second rnd, slip the first st as to purl and work the rnd as established.
PATTERN NOTES
Quathiaski is worked in the round from the wrist to the fingers. Two colors are used for the stripes (MC) and (CC). You may carry up and weave in the yarn as you go for the alternating colors or you may choose to cut and weave in ends after. Use the method that you prefer. I used both of these methods, respectively, on the Blue (MC) Wristers pictured. Color change is worked on the palm side of the wrister.
