Notions
Stitch marker; tapestry needle; waste yarn for provisional cast on
Gauge
24 sts and 32 rnds = 4” [10 cm] in colorwork pattern after wet blocking.
Notes
The pattern is worked in the round and joined at the end using Kitchener stitch. When working the colorwork pattern carry the unused colors up the inside of the cowl securing them at the start of each row.
Chart
Cowl
Using waste yarn, provisionally cast on 80 sts.
Join to work in the round, being careful not to twist the sts.
Pm. With CC1 begin chart, starting with Rnd 2. Follow chart adding in new colors as indicated. Repeat chart until cowl reaches desired length, ending with Rnd 24.
With a tapestry needle, weave in loose ends.
Using CC1 and kitchener stitch, join the two ends of the cowl together.
Finishing
Wet block and dry.
