A friend challenged me to push my designing skills: a semi-circular shawl with only textured stitches – knit and purl, no lace, no cables.
This is the design I came up with – a motif at the top finishing off with some ribbing so it lays flat and doesn’t curl. It’s a pretty design but conforms to my friend’s rules.

Think I will go blind trying to work from chart three. The Stitch and Row numbers refuse to be seen clearly even with a magnifying glass. Good thing I know how to Excel charts!!!
Lovely pattern… eager to get started.
Thank you for yet another wonderful pattern.
I’m sorry you’re having such issues with it! I definitely don’t want you to have to use a magnifying glass to use it!
What if I broke the chart into two so it printed at a larger size?
What a wonderful idea!
thanks! i really like the look of the shawl without any eyelets! i didn’t expect that.
